Our Philosophy for support
ColombiaCare focuses on specific projects that have a beginning and an end. As a contributor, you will be able to monitor the progress of the particular project we are working on. We will be posting periodic updates on our progress in this page. Perhaps one day, you, your children or your grand children will visit Colombia and see a school, shelter, library, that you were part in making a reality. Through your tax deductible contribution, volunteer effort and support of ColombiaCare, you are giving a future to children that have suffered a great deal and that without some help may never be able to grow to be productive people. You will be able to see tangible results of your contribution.
Buy Christmas cards and t-shirts
The cards were done using designs by children at the La Cruz School. We are selling 10 for $10. The t-shirts are $15 each. We have L, M, S. Please send an email with your request specifying quantity and size for the t-shits to contact@colombiacare.org

Fundraising
Active fundraising started at the end of March 2004. All of the donations to date have been from individuals. We received in 2004 $12,013. At the end of December 2005 we had receved $27,367 through donations and funding events and $18,856 for the first payment of the grant we won in October. We are doing well in 2006 in events we have collected up to day $15,000. We also received a grant for $36,000
THANK YOU ALL!!!!. We are continuing our fundraising efforts and have started to apply for grants from foundations. We have also received some school supplies that we sent to the Altos de la Cruz school and to the After School program in Tunja.
